Return & Refund Policy

At The Couch Brothers, we sell new, liquidation, and used home furnishings. The condition is always stated on the listing, and this policy explains how returns and exchanges work for each type.

1. New Items

If your item is listed as NEW, you can request a return or exchange within 3 days of the item being in your possession (delivery or pickup) as long as it’s in the same condition.

  • Approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee on every return or exchange.
  • Delivery fees you already paid are non-refundable.
  • If we have to come back to pick the item up, there will be an additional pickup fee based on your location.

2. Liquidation / Used Items

Some items we sell are liquidation, pre-owned, or otherwise considered not brand-new. If the listing doesn’t clearly say “New”, it falls into this category.

  • These items are final sale.
  • If an item is marked “Final Sale”, it is final sale — no returns.

3. Delivery & Pickup

  • The delivery/setup fee is non-refundable.
  • If you return something and we need to pick it up, there will be an extra pickup fee based on your location.

4. Damage & Condition

  • Damage during delivery: please refer to our Delivery Policy for more information.
  • Pre-existing damage: if a piece has a flaw before purchase, it will be shown in person or clearly stated on the listing. These items are sold as-is.

5. Custom / Special Orders

We do take custom orders on our new products through the manufacturers we work with. Because those are ordered specifically for you, custom orders are not refundable.

6. Refund Method

All approved returns are issued as store credit only, minus the restocking fee, and can be used with The Couch Brothers.

7. How to Start a Return

Text us at 847-595-0684 within 3 days of receiving the item. Tell us your name, what you bought, and what the issue is.

All items must be in the same condition they were in when delivered or picked up.
