Delivery Policy
At The Couch Brothers, we personally handle every delivery to make sure your furniture arrives safely and smoothly. We’re based in Rolling Meadows, IL and deliver throughout the Chicagoland area. For locations farther out, just text us and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Delivery Fees
Our standard delivery fee is $199. Prices may vary based on distance, item type, or multiple-item orders. Locations outside our normal range may include an additional travel charge.
All delivery fees are non-refundable, including in cases of returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
Scheduling Deliveries
We schedule deliveries directly through text message after purchase. This keeps communication quick and simple and avoids phone tag.
We typically provide a 1-hour delivery window and always update you if we hit traffic or delays.
Delivery Includes Setup
Your delivery includes bringing the item inside and setting it up in the room of your choice. We always handle items carefully and treat your home with respect.
If we damage something due to our handling (for example hitting a wall or dropping an item), that is on us.
However, we cannot be responsible for issues caused by:
- Tight or difficult entries
- Stairways, narrow hallways, or low ceilings
- Pre-existing obstacles or hazards
- Customer handling after the item is delivered
Tight spaces, difficult entries, pre-existing obstacles, or customer handling after delivery are not our responsibility.
Customer Responsibility
Please make sure the space is ready before we arrive. We recommend:
- Measuring doorways, stairways, and hallways to ensure the item will fit
- Clearing walkways and the final placement area
- Protecting walls or floors if you are concerned about tight spaces
If an item does not fit, the delivery fee is still non-refundable, and additional charges may apply for redelivery or restocking.
Delivery Damages
If damage occurs due to our handling, we will address it and resolve the situation professionally.
We are not responsible for damage caused by tight spaces, difficult entries, pre-existing obstacles, or customer handling after delivery.
